Ajax Seminar : Part 6

Jouk Pleiter of Backbase, showing off plenty of demos using their toolkit. I’ve seen these before, so no big wow-factor, but seeing them again now, I’m very impressed with how well they’ve sorted the bookmarking and back-button issues.

There’s been a rush to open source various proprietary Ajax frameworks - both Backbase and Flex are OS-ing a lot of their stuff now.

    I recently listened to your narrative on Ajax, and was impressed by the content. However, to be historically accurate you should note that Henry Ford didn’t create the automobile, he created the assembly line. I know this was not important to your content, and perhaps was not noticed by most, but was incorrect. Karl Benz was credited with the creation of the gasoline powered automobile.
